With a neutral palette and an attention to materiality, we brought focus to dear Airi and Ryan's architectural sensibilities. We began with the chipboard save-the-date, and followed with the graph paper invitation enclosed in a custom, reversible envelope. This envelope, inspired by Muji's sticky note and vintage telegram envelopes, was intended to minimize the number of components in the invitation: no need for a separate RSVP card! In collaboration with wrk-shp, we designed this envelope for guests to fill out, refold in reverse, and send back by mail.
Vintage postage was carefully selected, and envelope seals were made from pages of an old architecture textbook. Table-number-menus carried along the motif of varied paper.
