the weekends have been particularly cherished as of late, especially since these summer ones seem to pass by so quickly. where is the pause button? there is much that i want to do…

eat:
+echoing good’s online bake auction • sweet sara tso of matchbox kitchen is participating in this auction via her lemon lavender shortbread cookies! bidding began this morning & runs through saturday afternoon, with all proceeds supporting sustainable school farms in uganda.

see:
+overdrive • it’s the last weekend to catch this exhibit at the getty before it heads to DC. i highly recommend a visit — getting to see the evolution & influence of architecture upon our city’s fabric & infrastructure, via models, drawings, videos, & photographs, was truly eye opening & inspiring. or, if you can’t make it out to the getty, there’s also the a. quincy jones exhibit at the hammer…  
+old pasadena film festival • this is one of my absolute favorite things about summer that i always look forward to: getting to see favorite films, old & new, out-of-doors. 

shop:
+renegade craft fair • there’s a special place in my heart for summer renegade LA — my first ever fair was summer of 2010, with genevieve santos. i won’t be participating this weekend, but plan to visit talented friends & enjoy the sunshine. 
+adored vintage • owner rodellee bas is opening up her shop for vintage sundays. i’ve been eyeing her beautiful shop via the web for so long — i can’t wait to visit in-person.
